Function
- Inhibits cell-free protein synthesis. Inhibits trypsin and chymotrypsin. Does not inhibit ribonuclease of protease activity. Has antibacterial activity except Gram-positive bacterium S. aureus or the Gram-negative bacteria E. coli, E. aerogenes, P. aeruginosa and P. vulgaris. Inhibits the proliferation of leukemia cells in vitro.

Biophysicochemical properties
