- Enterocin Wbeta was proven to have 3 dehydrated amino acids as well as 2 and 2 Lan and MeLan residues, respectively. The amino acid sequences of the prepeptides of enterocin W showed the highest identity with those of plantaricins Walpha and Wbeta (63.3 and 44.7%, respectively).
