- Amphipathic peptide that shows antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. Increases efficacy of antibiotics when tested against S.aureus, probably by facilitating their incorporation into the bacteria. Has hemolytic activity against human erythrocytes.
