Comments Information
Function
- HalR1 is a microhalocin ( 38 amino acids ), and even more intriguing, HalR1 is 63% identical and 71% similar to HalS8
(identical residues in capitals ) . HalR1 is not cationic like typical bacteriocins and eucaryocins, it will be interesting to discover their mechanisms of action.
