Comments Information
Function
- Has strong antifungal activity. Lacks antifungal activity against P.verrucosum var. verrucosum. Lacks antibacterial activity against the Gram-negative bacterium E.coli and against the Gram-positive bacterium S.aureus. Has very low hemolytic activity against human erythrocytes. Increases fungal cell membrane permeability, probably by disrupting the membrane structure.
